Dr. Jayakrishnan Narayana Kurup — Expert in Hand & Upper-Limb Surgery in Abu Dhabi — is a Specialist Orthopedic Surgeon renowned for his precision, compassion, and globally trained expertise. He holds an M.B.B.S., M.S., and D.N.B. in Orthopaedics from India, along with the prestigious European Diploma in Hand Surgery 

(FESSH, Brussels).

 

He has completed advanced clinical fellowships in Hand & Reconstructive Microsurgery at the National University Hospital, Singapore, and in Hand & Upper-Limb Surgery at Wrightington, UK

I consulted Dr. Jayakrishnan Kurup. Specialist Orthopedic Surgeon (Hand and Microvascular Surgeon). upon noticing symptoms of ulnar neuropathy after a direct fall on my elbow (cubital tunnel syndrome). He correctly diagnosed the case (later confirmed by positive MRI for the case), clearly explained the reasons for symptoms and started conservative management. He has been very caring and cooperative during clinic visits. He always understood our concerns, answered our questions and showed empathy towards me when I complained of my symptoms. He shared his recommended treatment plan giving realistic information about the condition and expected outcome. When non-surgical options didn't work in my case, he convinced to proceed for ulnar nerve decompression with anterior transposition. He always included us during the decision-making processes. His care and expertise earned him our trust and, thus, we chose him and Burjeel Hospital for my surgery الحمد the surgery went well and we are hopeful of smooth and speedy recovery as we observe reduction in symptoms with time.
